Summer Band Camp (update 7/18/20)

Good afternoon Panther Band Family,

   As many of you have heard, the local government has ruled that no on campus instruction is to take place at public or private schools until after Labor Day. While this a little heartbreaking for me, this restriction keeps our band program from gathering, even in the small groups that we had initially planned for.

   I know that although this may put a delay in how our summer camps may be, we will be working on an adjusted online plan for our students. Our ultimate goal is that we will continue to strive to be the best we can be. We are still hopeful that we will have a football season later this school year. So our virtual camps will still set up our students for another successful season.

  Virtual camps will begin on July 27, with percussion, guard, and leadership. We will reach to these students to get our camps initiated.

   In closing, I know that at the end of all these adjustments, our kids will rise above all expectations! They are resilient! Our band community is resilient! We will see you soon Panther Band Family! Be safe, stay healthy, and God bless. - Mr. Alvarado
